When you use Milan Tailors, we measure you for the best custom fit. We are the experts, and unlike our competitors, we don’t expect you to measure yourself! We pride ourselves on providing the greatest service for our greatest customer – you.
The suit fits on the body based first around the shoulders. Everyone has a different shoulder. And, everybody has a front cross and back cross that are different. (The front and back “cross” refers to the width and fit of the suit on your upper torso and chest). We start your custom suit by focusing on those areas first — the shoulders, the front and back cross.
We then construct the suit that fits you best.
You can buy a suit off-the-rack, but the off-the-rack suits are made all the same in these three important areas; shoulders, back and front cross. A suit shouldn’t be made for every man – it should be made especially for you!
We do the same with shirting. We care about the shoulders the most. The shirts are “fit” so we don’t worry about the front or back cross.
